Kokoro Don & Noodle (JB)

Patronised on Sunday evening. Very comfy, conducive and nice setting. Service staff are also very welcoming, polite. A lady staff patiently n kindly went thru some recommendations and took my verbal orders. Had a spicy miso soup noodle. It has distinct mala pepper flavor w/o being overwhelming. Very delicious noodle. Also had one of their hand drip specialty flavor coffees, which was smooth n very nice, and a tart. Could smell n taste the lychee flavor, though not the jasmine . Tart wasn't heavy, just right.

Love their noodle. Today’s special is banana chiffon. Lightning toasted - slight crunch & fluffy, unique play with texture, goes very well with the cream. Highly recommend

Got the spicy kuro don and the curry chicken don all in under 10 mins of waiting. The rose latte is also one of the best I’ve had. Wouldn’t mind coming here just to chill and have drinks as they are good on their own too.

I was initially sceptical about the 5 stars review during my research before i came, but decided to have a go at this place. Got their miso soup chicken noodle, curry chicken don, macha burnt cheese cake. No kidding all were good. Miso soup was umami, the chicken was crispy and meat was indeed not overyly cooked. Don curry was also very nice, not overly sweet or salty in any way, a slight hint of spicy but i dont mind. The Macha burnt cheesecake is a MUST! Luckily i saw some ppl review saying dont leave without trying their burnt cheese cake. No regret. The atmosphere is very quiet. Spacious. Staffs were very polite. Boss is doing the right thing here

No wonder many 5* reviews. I had walked past this stretch the last round but totally missed it. Ordered the Japanese curry fish Don but would be best to replace the fish with fried chicken. The Komoucha was perfect.

Underrated store! Really love their noodles be it soy or miso soup style Houjicha latte also tastes better than Niko Neko Premium ingredients used and sold at an affordable price Beautiful interior, good service from staff, welcomed by the owner himself, love the ambience too! They also sell various specialty drinks, Kombucha and cute handcrafted stuffs Will return again one day ~

Ordered their 'Japanese curry chicken don', definitely one of the better japanese curry dons out there. Not overly sweet, mildly spicy, a balanced japanese curry gravy. The fried chicken in this dish, must have gone through some serious R&D, lightly battered, super crispy; even after 10mins being soaked in curry, there is still some crunch to it when I bite into it. Thin omelette that wraps the top, and bottom. There is a surprise ingredient underneath the omelette, which is diced cucumber, personally I would prefer not to the cucumbers. The soup in this set, is a good palate cleanser. They served this small dish of silken tofu over century egg, love the tofu, did not touch the century egg. Overall a great meal, enjoyable experience and their staffs are friendly.

peaceful and minimalistic shop! clean, neat and with superb food. was not expecting the food to be this yummy, overall a big surprise!! the spicy noodle soup i ordered had special instructions (one side is spicy and the other is not!), overalm such a delight. will be back!
